"should try to broadside more" works both ways.and they have better angle to do damage.vs my tiny gun "you are a CL killing monster!" let me just find my mountain removal consumable "Use your speed!" uhhh patient is a virtue in this game it seems "you should try to flank" yeah good luck staying hidden with the new concealment nerf and CV. I invested a lot of time with French and for it to come crashing down like the way it is at tier 9? Yeah, I'm done.high points is the AA which I could never use cause now AA is a lot worse vs new CV gameplay. However once I got the Alsace.yeah I'm done with the French BB line It was a choir to grind lyon, little bit of the richellue cause of the weird Acc and I just had 2 games with my ACC was so bad shooting a standing BB I had to censor. ![]() I didn't mind the Richelle, still, don't know how to carry in it but I do decent damage with it. I'll either get through by sheer spite or advise everyone I know to never bother with high tiers. If this is a Russian idea to make people spend Free XP, well, it's not working, because it's far too annoyingly bad for that. The one thing it used to be better than Iowa at, the ability to shotgun DDs derprushing it in the face and score more damage due to number of hitting shells, has been removed from the game,Īnd the stock hull grind has worse agility than stock Iowa (which I ground through with sheer spite because I wasn't going to shell out 3,500,000 creds for B hull which didn't even improve the rudder). After the BB AP nerf vs DDs, the Alsace is now a complete and utter heap of slag that is so awful I'm tempted to give up the grind at 8K XP from the upgraded hull.Ĭompared to Iowa, the Alsace has the following gross failures which I am tol dare not fixed by the hull upgrade:ġ) Godawful accuracy: Misses easily even at point blankĢ) Disastrous failure to overmatch heavy cruiser platingĤ) Flat trajectory: Can't shoot over hills at mid range
